if i were alex i would have tried to jam the tires just by throwing something at the wheels and if that didnt work it would still cause a delightfully thrilling crash :)
I agree Patrick - jamming the tires would have caused a "delightfully thrilling crash". Alex definetly is a creative and fast thinker. Paulina - I also agree with you - I don't know if I could think that fast.
What do you think that his friend is thinking? If he was my friend I might be wondering if he has some sort of double life or secret powers.
